Phillips Frith is a firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors in St Austell, Cornwall. They approached us originally as they were aware their website was in need of an upgrade but we knew they needed a re-brand too. Luckily for us both Jane and Ian (the partners at Phillips Frith) were up for seeing our ideas, so we took this as the green light to go for it.
As they were keen to convey their welcoming and friendly style of doing business and also being fully aware of how accountants are often called ‘bean counters’ we decided to play up to this! Hence the inspiration behind the bean shape of their new logo and the strapline – counting beans since 1926. The brand colours where deliberately chosen to be bright and punchy with a lovely reddy/pink as the primary colour together with a bean pattern that incorporates bright blues, yellows and greens.
Once the branding was all agreed and the stationery items designed, the next project was the website. We commissioned Falmouth-based photographer Ben Mostyn to accompany Phillips Frith to a number of their client meetings and capture them doing what they do best. They really do ‘take the time to get to know you and your business’ which is very important to all the team at Phillips Frith and we feel the new branding and their new photographs really reflect their relaxed and friendly style with clients.
