We were contacted by the owner of this business when she had recently taken over the pizza cafe as a going concern and had done a quick re-brand using another company, keeping the original business name. But it wasn’t feeling right and, realising she needed a new approach, Lisa contacted us.
After our first meeting, we agreed that going for a new name and a complete re-brand was the way forward. We went away and came up with a few options including SaltyBay, which seemed to capture Lisa’s love for the St Austell Bay area and the local community. The name feels coastal and fun-loving and we could see it would enable us to create the perfect logo and identity for the business, encompassing these elements.
We got to work with a set of initial concepts and once agreed, this was followed with all new exterior and interior signage for the restaurant – or Pizza Kitchen as it is now known. Whilst the signage was in production, we worked on the menu design, loyalty cards, promo flyers and of course the website. Everything was timed to the re-opening of the Pizza Kitchen following the first lockdown.
