Gelateria Beppino is a wonderful gelateria and café located in Bridport town centre in Dorset. Giuseppe and Suzanne came to us only a few weeks before they were due to open in need of everything apart from the gelato! So we got to work to create them a beautiful logo and identity that suited their ethos and the building perfectly.
Gelato originates from Italy but it isn’t simply the Italian word for ice cream. Gelato is made using more milk and less fat than ice cream. It also contains less air, which means the texture is much creamier and richer even though gelato has a much lower fat content. Giuseppe makes all their gelato on the premises using milk from local Dorset cows and the finest quality ingredients. And not to be out-done, Suzanne bakes all the cakes and pastries fresh each morning too. So it isn’t surprising that, together with their fabulous customer service and freshly ground illy coffee, they have been an instant hit in the town with both local residents and tourists.
Once the branding was agreed (in record time!) we designed the exterior signage including a traditional, hand-painted hanging sign and some outdoor seating area banners. We also designed their loyalty card and stamp, simple point of sale items and promo cards and of course the website.
They’ve had some amazing feedback and 5-star reviews on both Facebook and Tripadvisor – very well deserved they are too!
