Passionate about the art of brewing beer, Chadlington Brewery took their inspiration from the glorious Cotswolds to create a golden craft ale as their first beer to launch in Autumn 2015. Brewed using only natural ingredients with a secret combination of hops and malt, it’s packed full of Cotswold sunshine with hints of citrus and a lingering malt. We created a modern, yet classic logo and the triangular device is an abstract link to Oxfordshire’s iconic Red Kites that are regularly spotted in the village of Chadlington in West Oxfordshire.
Launching with their first beer, called Golden Ale, we designed the beer bottle packaging, pump clips for the draft beer on tap, pint glasses, promotional literature, banners, t-shirts and of course, the website.
The feedback on the beer has been fantastic and as the repeat orders from bars, pubs, restaurants and shops roll in, we’re excited to be working with the Chadlington Brewery as they continue to expand their range of beers including Oxford Blonde and Oxford Blue. In Spring 2017 they were announced as the Official Partner of Oxfordshire Cricket, which has its own dedicated Chadlington Brewery beer, called 1787.
The Chadlington Brewery brand continues to go from strength to strength and the new brew house is under construction, due to be ready for its first brew in early 2018 – watch this space.
“Wetdog Creative was engaged by Chadlington Brewery to design and deliver all our branding and marketing materials for the launch programme of our new craft brewery. This was no small ask, and from the very start they provided insight and challenge that generated a huge amount of additional value. Always there to help, they started as they meant to continue with face-to-face meetings, and helped work through early thoughts to quickly develop a clear brief and realistic plan. The continued edge and insight brought to the work was tremendous, as was the standard of the work produced, they gave us complete confidence that the major branding aspects of our business were in safe hands. Feedback on both our beer and our brand has been tremendous. From a branding perspective, I genuinely doubt anyone else would have brought the blend of empathy with our brand requirements, external insight and healthy challenge. Great to work with and deeply impressive. They are part of the team – no doubt.”
