Compton Verney | Warwickshire

This internationally renowned art gallery is located within a Warwickshire mansion and set in beautiful grounds, famously created by landscape architect Capability Brown, in the 18th Century. In addition to their six permanent art collections, the gallery puts on a number of exhibitions each year and we have design the graphics and printed materials for some of these, including those required for their ‘Curious Beasts’ exhibition, which was in association with the British Museum. The images shown here (© Jamie Woodley Photography) showcase the wall graphics we designed for Curious Beasts and its sister exhibition ‘A Fantastical Animal Alphabet’. The highlight for us was the 4-metre high shark skull positioned on the wall as people first walked in to the gallery, delivering a huge impact and talking point of the entire exhibition!

Other exhibitions we have worked on in previous years for Compton Verney include ‘Outside In’ which showcased outsider art and also their ‘What the Folk Say’ exhibition both of which required additional print materials including exhibition brochures and promotional adverts, posters and activity cards.
