Nom Foods

This was a great project for us – we’re big foodies, so of course part of getting to grips with the brand ethos involves sampling the goods! We are delighted to confirm nom bars are super, super tasty and they’re good for you too – yay! The guys at nom are really passionate about creating great tasting, healthy foods you can eat on the go. The products are made with 100% organic ingredients including virgin coconut oil, which is not only delicious but a real powerhouse of a superfood! For their brand identity we went for a really bright and fun feel with funky colours for each flavour of bar. Cream, pink and brown are the key brand colours and so these feature on the original bar and across the marketing materials with punchy reds and yellows featuring on the other flavour bars.

NOM stands for Natural Organic Matter but we put a twist on this and included the strapline Naturally, Organic Matters with the logo to really  showcase their passion for organic, natural ingredients that have been ethically sourced. Nom bars were launched in Planet Organic’s stores across London in July 2013 and after this exclusive 8-week launch were soon available in lots of other lovely health food shops, sports shops, cafes, deli’s and larger food retailers including Ocado. Product development is on-going and since the launch we’ve created additional packaging for 3-bar multipacks in all three flavours and a new protein-rich bar, which is made with organic pea protein – another natural and tasty superfood. And in July 2015 their exciting new range of nom organic popcorn was launched in three delicious flavours – nom nom nom!

In Autumn 2016 they launched a new savoury flavour of organic popcorn (Tomato Pesto – yum!) and also created a new gluten-free recipe for their nom bars using gluten-free jumbo oats. We have re-designed all the packaging and marketing materials to promote the now gluten-free bars and they are currently going down a storm with both new and existing customers worldwide – images to follow soon!
