Wedding Invite

As a design agency we wouldn’t normally do wedding invitations, but every now and again a client comes along looking for something a bit different and if we like the sound of it, then we take on the job. This particular project got our attention as the client was getting married at Lords and were having a cricket-themed wedding!

The resulting design used our hand-drawn 50's style cricket illustrations and clean type setting.

The invite itself follows a concertina fold style with the traditional green colours of Lords (litho printed of course!), a matching RSVP tear off card and a separate invite to the ceremony itself. We finished it off with a lovely printed band that went over the invite to keep everything safely in place.

Ah, don’t you just love a good wedding!
